• You have a great aesthetic sense, but you are also technical enough to build things
• You might not be a hard-core developer, but you know how to implement interactivity using JavaScript or ActionScript
• You like to apply creativity to solve the sometimes thorny problems of interaction
• You might have a book by Edward Tufte
• While not an expert, you are not afraid of ASP.NET, Cold Fusion, PHP, or JSP

• Help design a compelling visual foundation and advance the aesthetic appeal of our interactive products
• Contribute to the design of our user interfaces as well as interface components
• Design and help develop innovative interactive solutions that help people get the most out of a unique data analytics backend

• Demonstrable and compelling portfolio of your interactive work
• A good balance of technical and visual design acumen (you can be a little to the left or right in any direction)
• Solid Web foundation: JavaScript, Cross-Browser DOM, CSS, HTML/DHTML
• Some ActionScript
• Demonstrated ability to master and implement new design and development techniques. (Our philosophy is nothing is off limits if it contributes to a better user experience.)

• Information Design and Usability
• XML/XPATH
• Experience with Windows Forms (even if you didn’t actually do the hard-core programming)
